All staff in The Venture Early Years Centre undertake compulsory statutory training to ensure we meet our legal requirements, as well as maintaining the highest standards for children in our care. This relates to: Health & Safety, Safeguarding (Child Protection), Food Safety, First Aid and Manual Handling.

A rolling programme of training also takes place for staff to attend throughout the year. This enables staff to enhance their knowledge and understanding of current topics relevant to the setting, this includes: Autism Spectral Disorder (ASD), early language development, Makaton (basic sign language), basic Welsh, positive behaviour strategies, special needs and any other appropriate training and input this into their daily practice to ensure children are nurtured and valued as individuals.
